Prakash Jain established Sanskriti Foundation in 1979,
an organization widely acknowledged as one of the
premier institutions dedicated to cultural preservation
and promotion. Mr. Jain was conferred with the Padma
Shree in 2003, one of India's highest civilian awards.
Mr O.P. Jain has devoted himself to the preservation
and nurturing of India's cultural heritage. During
his tenure as Convenor of INTACH, Delhi Chapter (Indian
National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) he initiated
many activities and projects in Delhi.
Mr.
Agarwal was till recently Governor of Sikkim. He was
Secretary General of the Rajya Sabha from 1981 to
1998. He has been prominently associated with many
institutions devoted to social and charitable causes.
Rathi Vinay Jha retired as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in 2004. Prior to that she has held many positions related to the crafts sector. She was one of the founders of NIFT and served as its Executive Director from 1987-93. After serving the government she was the Secretary General of the World Travel and Tourism Council India, and Director General of the Fashion Design Council of India.
Arun Maira is a reputed leader and writer on the
subjects of transformational change and leadership.
He is a frequent speaker at international forums
on the future of India. After having held senior
positions with the TATA Group in India and abroad,
as well as with major international consulting companies,
he was appointed a Member of the Planning Commission
in the Government of India in 2009. He is Chairman
of the Quality Council of India, and Chancellor
of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. He
has served on the National Council of the Confederation
of Indian Industry for many years and chaired several
of its national committees.
Keshav
Desiraju is currently Secretary to the Government
of India and works primarily with issues of medical
education, non-communicable disease and hospital administration.He
was educated at the Universities of Bombay, Cambridge
and Harvard and joined the Indian Administrative Service
in 1978. He has worked in various capacities with
the Governments of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand,
as with the Government of India.
